Hello!  John Barker here.  My purpose in life is to empower you to discover your potential.   You came to this site looking for something.  It is my job to help you get it.

My first coaching client was a shipping clerk for Sears.  He responded to an ad I ran in a local paper that read:

"I will support you like your life depends on it."

When we began our work together he was in debt, depressed and lacked self-confidence.  He came to me seeking more from his life and we uncovered his dream - to become a studio musician.   He's now nearing graduation from the Guitar Institute in Los Angeles.  I expect after getting this far he will live his dream.

He didn't need my help to discover his dream.  His dream was there - buried under a mountain of fear and discontent.  Through our work together he was freed to leave what he "thought" was safety behind.  He dared to walk the edge, to push his comfort zone and in doing so he found passion in his life.

"This is your life.  And, it's ending one minute at a time."

I recently asked a client and a participant in my course, Free Your Mind, to describe what she believes I do.  These are her words:
